Motion Biography
ROLE: Creative Director + Motion Designer + Audio Editor
A short-form animated video describing the significance of some of Paula Scher's contributions. Made in the style of Netflix's 'Abstract' series.
One of my goals for this project was to bring an exciting look into some of Paula’s works. Something visually interesting that outsiders would want to learn more about. I also wanted to try out different transitions within After Effects and took the opportunity to put those within the work.
My process looked a little different with this project. I searched for her work and found pieces I wanted to tie together or bring emphasis on and thought about how I could transition from one work to the next without it being too random. It was more of a plan-as-I-go and then design it in AE project rather than planning it all out, start to finish.
